Entryway Makeover

When we moved into this house, this was the entryway...

And after a coat of paint and some things I found around the house, we had this...

Table: Thrifted
Chair: Thrifted
Lamp Base: Thrifted
Lamp Shade: Target
Rug: Target
Bowl: Marshalls
Candle: Target
Eiffel Tower: Paris! :)
Pillow: Etsy DiyPillows (which I just found out their shop is closing)
Mirror: Garage Sale
Books: Andrew Wyeth (my favorite artist)
Paint Color: There is a fun story about how we came up with the color.
One day we were eating Cape Cod's Salt & Vinegar chips
and I looked at the blue on the bag, and said, That would be such a pretty wall color!
So we brought the chip bag to Home Depot and they made us up a gallon.

I was reading a design magazine yesterday, and they featured a room with almost the same color. It was amazing. You have such a great eye so that it's not crazy and overwhelming.

Super cute spot. Great job.
It looks amazing!! I love how all the pieces work together! What a great wall color!
i LOVE that fun blue wall, and it's perfect with the yellow. i also think it's great that you carved out this as an entryway. i've got a small cape, and we definitely don't have a seperate entry.
Abbie is right...this is a great improvement!
Very cute! What a fun place to come home to!
