The End.

I have a million things to say about the finale of LOST. Of course there was tons of questions left unanswered and of course the sideways world was confusing, but overall I really liked the show. I can't count how many times I started to cry. Whenever a couple would realize where they used to be and now they are back together that was a tear jerker. Six years worth of longing, love, heartbreaks, break-ups, split-aparts, reunions where enough to bring this girl to tears. No matter what, I will always love this show and I am happy everyone was together in the end. This summer, amidst wedding planning and DIY wedding decorations, I plan on watching the whole series from beginning to end. Maybe I'll catch some new insights along the way. Or maybe there will just be more unanswered questions? I love Lost.

One step at a time

Well hello! I am have been absent from the blog world for awhile. Life is moving at rapid speed and I have hardly anytime to catch my breath. I'm not even that busy making wedding plans. I'm actually pretty relaxed about the whole thing. We did set a date, August 8, 2010. Yes, that means THIS summer. But I'm okay with that. I have my venue set, photographer, still deciding on the catering situation and I am going to look at bridesmaid dresses tomorrow.(Kelly, Rachel & Shannon, I promise to dress you in something fun, chic, sassy, cool and inexpensive) Everything is falling into place. It's strange planning for a wedding. All these big decisions to make for one day. I don't want to cut corners but I think some things are just ridiculously expensive and I don't want to pay full price. Is that bad? Like I'm really content with making my own bridal bouquets. I've read\watched a tutorial and know of friends who made theirs and it looks simple enough. We

So this is how it happened... (The engagement!) After work on Tuesday we headed to my house so I could get ready to go out and have dinner with my Cousin of Honor Kelly (yes that is her official title as one of three fabulous bridesmaids.) And along with Kelly; Kyle, Sarah & Eric were going to be at dinner as well. So, I was freshening up in the bathroom, with no clue as to what Tim was doing. I then went into my room to get ready, stood on top of a clothes pile, and finally yelled, "I'm not ready! I have NOTHING to wear!" To which T walked in and said, "I think I have something that might complete your ensemble." He then pulled out a little box out of his pocket, opened it up and asked me to marry him! First I said, Shut Up! NO WAY! NO WAY! NO WAY! IS THIS FOR REAL??? Then I hugged him and said YES! It was the happiest moment of my life! And here is the Pièce de résistance. The most beautiful ring I could've asked for! (don't mind my crooked fing

Beaming!

Three years ago I started working at my current job. I started my job, leaving a job I hated and recently broken up from my boyfriend. It was a debbie downer time of my life. My first month at my job I hated it and decided to quit over the summer. The summer came and went and for some reason I just didn't feel right about leaving my job. So I stayed. And it was the BEST decision I ever made. That fall when all the teachers came back from their summer vacation I noticed a cute looking guy checking me out during the teachers meetings. Actually i realized the clock was above my head and he was just checking the the time. sigh. Over the years we became friends, I developed a crush on him and then we started dating last November. Tim is my best friend, my number 1 fan, my supporter and the person who makes me laugh day after day. Soon he will be HUSBAND!!! Last night he proposed and I said YES!!! It was the best night of my life and I am so excited to share the rest of my life with him

The Weekend

Image
Is it FINALLY the weekend!!! This has been a really long week. Fun, but long. I went to TWO Minnesota Twins Games at the new Stadium. SWOON. I love the new stadium. Outdoor baseball is how the game was supposed to be played! It rained both nights I was there and it didn't bother me one bit. Our stadium is Target Field, there is also a Target Center. Minnesotans love their Targets. Target was started here. It's in our blood. This weekend will be nothing short of busy!! But all very good stuff. Tonight will be a Triple Date with two of my friends from High School and their boys. Saturday will be a baby shower for my cousin Erin hosted by her lovely sister, Kelly. Saturday night will be a double date with Kristen & Nelson. Dinner at Pittsburgh Blue and Iron Man 2! (i'm excited for this!) Sunday I will spend a lovely day with my mom. Happy Mother's Day! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Fixed!

Last night I went to my blog and it was gone!!! I mean GONE! I freaked! I know I haven't been blogging in over a week, but to see it totally gone really made me sad. Thankfully, everything is fine now. There was some suspicious activity on my GMail account so things were deactivated. All is well. It made me realize just how much I really like my little blog and would've been sad to see it gone! I've been over the top busy lately. And with no computer working at home, and no time to blog at work it's been awhile. Things are great. Life is good! Some big "anniversaries" are coming up for me. May 7, 2007 - Three years at my job (New personal record!) May 16, 2008 - Two years being a homeowner (I love my house!) June 9, 2007 - Three years blogging. (I might just have a big giveaway coming up to celebrate my blog!) I will take some time today going through blogs I love to read but have not had a chance to look at. Hope you are all well! Enjoy today.
