RIP John Hughes

So Sad. I just found out that writer\director\movie maker extraordinaire John Hughes has died.
I just love so many of his movies and each movie is memorable in different ways. I wanted to be in all of his movies. His characters were so real, so cool!

Here is a list of some of my favorite Hughes films...

  • Home Alone

  • National Lampoons Christmas Vacation

  • Uncle Buck

  • She's Having a Baby

  • Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

  • Some Kind of Wonderful

  • Ferris Bueller's Day Off!

  • Pretty in Pink

  • Weird Science

  • The Breakfast Club

  • Sixteen Candles (my favorite!!, I love you Jake Ryan)

  • National Lampoons Vacation

  • Mr. Mom

How sad. And he was only 59. I was disappointed he stopped writing a while ago but I guess you can't top all the success he had in the 80s. I didn't realize he wrote Maid in Manhattan. He used a pen name but no wonder I liked that movie!

just want to say i'm a fan right away 0 this family loves museums and libraries1 in fact, we visit them both on the same day everytime we're out to go to one! tahnk you for this blogsite! God bless, and my condolences for John Hughes!
I had no idea that some of this list were HIS movies. I knew some of my faves were his, but WOW, so many more I didn't know.

Now I'm even more bummed.

Thanks a lot.

Kidding.

But it is sad.
