Not too cool for school 

Everett is officially a preschooler! My baby is a big boy now and I just have to learn to deal. So far I think he likes school. But it's hard to tell because he won't give me a strait answer. He likes his quiet time when he comes home and if I ask him too many questions he says, MOM! Stop that behavior!!!
We enrolled him in one program two days a week in the morning for two hours. At the same time we applied for another school not thinking we would get in... and we did. So he goes to two schools. And one of them he gets to ride the bus! Which is huge for Everett! We are trying both schools for a month and if it seems too overwhelming, we'll scale back to one school. But I think, he is having fun, learning to play with other kids, and getting the structure he needs that I just can't give him at this time with a 20 month old and a newborn at home.

Because this is what happens when I'm too busy to play with him...

Finnley Parker is 1 Month Old! 

Hello?????

 I never thought I would take such a long break from blogging. I stopped posting right after January of this year and never got back to it. Mostly because I was pregnant, tired, busy, and chasing around two toddlers. I'm not even sure if I'll continue to blog regularly from now on, but I wanted to share a few things going on before I signed off again.

On August 1, we welcomed out newest addition to the family...

  Finnley Parker! 

He is such a sweet, easy going baby so far. A great eater and sleeper too! We are slowly adjusting to having another baby in the family. The big boys are too busy to really care a whole lot, and they are pretty good about playing together.  One more week and Tim goes back to work. He's had the whole summer off, so I think him going back to work will be the biggest adjustment of all.  Everett starts preschool in a few weeks and we are trying to shape up a calender of toddler\baby classes and mom groups to keep us all busy.

Summer is coming to an end and even with a new baby, we are trying to stay as busy and have as much fun as possible. I'll try to be better about blogging in the future. But for now we are off another adventure.

Baby 3 will be here August 2014

Obviously, we are so excited! It's going to be crazy, but we are already Living La Vida Loca, so why not?!
We are planning on finding out the gender, but not until mid - March.
Girl? Boy?  Hmmm....

Cold Days\Snow Days

It's been so cold here! Actually, the Twin Cities just ranked #1 in Cities that were allowed to complain about the cold. School was shut down Monday and Tuesday (great for us because then daddy can stay home) but if you want to do anything outside you are out of luck. 

Thankfully, we've had a heat wave today! 30 degrees ABOVE zero! On Monday it was 30 degrees BELOW zero! 

We took advantage of this day by spending some time outside as a family, sledding and hanging out in the snow. You may notice a new furry pet in our family... Say hello to Sprinkles our Shih tzu puppy!

One Year of Deacon

When Everett turned one, I made a video for him, so of course I had to make one for my sweet little Deacon! I definitely had time to do this, since we were stuck inside due to the ridiculous cold! But hey, my husband got two extra days of break because all schools were closed.
