I have the cards, I just haven't made the time to send them. My husband even offered to do all of them, but we have different views on what should be said in a thank you card. And I don't mean to freak you out, but the etiquette rule is actually that guests have up to a year to send wedding gifts. TY notes are supposed to be sent off as soon as possible.

at this point, why worry about spilt milk? :)
It probably just seems like a totally daunting task. I say, if you don't get the 20 done, just do 1 or 2 each night. That way, you'll be done in a month or so (depending on how many gifts you have). Either way, I think it's just the psychology of getting started. Every journey starts w/ one step.
That said, I think the best way is to tackle a few a night. And unless your husband's idea of what should be included is totally heinous let him do the ones for his friends and family if he's willing.
