Happy Clothes

In Minnesota, in the winter time, and especially in January, things start looking a little stark, gray and bleak. We bundle up in big coats, hats, mittens and scarves. And then we live in jeans and sweaters and sweatshirts. But I am trying to break the depressing doldrums and bring some cheeriness to my wardrobe. These are a few of my favorite things I'm rocking lately.
Colorful Cardigans (one for each day of the week)

Brown and pink boots (macy's)

Chunky Tear Drop Ring (Charlotte Russe)

Textured Tights (Target)

Yellow Scarf (Old Navy)

Small things that help me feel cute and chipper throughout the day. (Please hurry Spring!)

LOVE your boots and the ring. I'm so envious of girls who are good at finding such awesome little accessories. You have great taste, too! Wear them in style.
I like everything except tights which make me feel cold and crabby. Meow.

I have to say, fall clothing is my favorite.

Oh, and I am a cardigan whore. I'm not joking. I wear them probably 4-5 days a week. I also have a pair of lacy textured tights from target, that I love to wear with my kneehigh black leather boots.

Ummm, Heather is coming to visit me in May. I think you should come too.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the ring!!!!!

It's difficult to find clothing that will cheer a girl up in the harshest of winters-but colorful scarves REALLY help!
Love the scarf and cardigans and the chunky ring - nothing better than some colour to cheer you up on a grey winter day.
