Operation Baking Gals In the Mail!

A few weeks ago I wrote about a group of women I joined called Operation Baking Gals. I belong to a team of women who have been sending baked treats to some special troops overseas this past week. Today I made some Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from a recipe by my favorite baker, Dorie Greenspan. So off my cookies go along with some other treats, to some deserving soldiers across the world.

Thank-you for taking care of our soldiers out there. I've been meaning to get on a project like that but seem to be having some issues with 'time' these days. Sending our blessings to you and to those who are far away from their families and friends so we can be close to ours--without fear.

Way to go Sabrina! I'm sure those guys and gals will really love eating your cookies--they look great! :) Hey--I'm in MN for a few weeks...let's hang out! I'm a couple hours from Mpls, but am planning to come down a few times...

I really don't think it's a good idea to send treats to our soldiers without having them taste tested by experts like me. I would like to serve by being an official baking gals taste tester. You know my address.

Bad grammar. Just to clarify, I'm offering to taste test the treats.
I'm sleep deprived from a sick baby (I know, nothing likes our troops risking their lives on the front lines), but I think that is worth at least a half to full cookie.
