World Record Worthy

You know what happens when you don't religiously blog? You get a build-up of blog worthy events. So you will all have to endure about 5 days worth of events. It would be funny to blog like that guy from the 80's who talked really fast... PAUSE (Google search)...RESUME.
John Moschitta, that is man who talked really really fast. So I'm going to do a re-cap, Moschitta style:

Took some flower pictures

Thursday went to Canterbury Park with Jaime, Cindy & Shannon.


There was a cow in the mini-van
I won on a horse i picked. yay.

Decorated my patio.


Shannon came over for 4th of July.

For fireworks

and ginormous plant hugging.

Sunday Celebrated my Grandma's 80th Birthday with a Wuollete's Princess Torte.

And Worked around the house

You have GOT to be kidding me!!!!!!! I just brought down my Swell Hanky duvet and used it to cover my couch yesterday!!!! Then today I was thinking that it might look good "slipcovered" over some of my patio cushions! AND I took a picture of my feet with the swell duvet in the background this afternoon!!!!! FREAKY! My favorite is the hanky with the S that I always believed stood for my last name, but I guess you prolly think it stands for Sabrina! I am TOTALLY flipping out right now! We are such kindred spirits!!!

oh how i loved that fast talking 80's guy and i would try to talk as fast as him and i think it was pretty close cause i can talk really fast and i really like all your pictures thank you for finally posting something (breath)

Christmas Clothespin Wreath

So now with Christmas almost upon us, I wanted to take the last few days to make some Christmas Crafts. This weekend I spied this AWESOME clothespin wreath on Pinterest which lead me to  Hambly Screen Prints Blog . Not only is it a fantastic blog with fun projects, it's also an online store full of the coolest scrapbook\crafting supplies. If you haven't been to Hambly Screen Prints...  GO NOW ! The clothespin wreath was so fun and easy to make!  Supplies you need: Wooden clothespins scrapbook papers Washi tape (or decorative tape) You can buy washi tape at Hambly, Amazon.com, etsy, Michaels or most craft stores) Glue Thick cardboard for circle (or Michaels sells pre-made circle forms) Felt to cover cardboard (although I skipped that step) Decorate your clothespin however you like. A Book and A Giveaway

As I said I would be doing in my 7 Resolutions, I am reading a book a week. This past week I read the book Precious, based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. I'm sure most of you have heard about the movie based on the novel. The book club that I belong to is reading this book and now that I read it, I am going to give it away. The book was very eye opening, raw. You really don't want to believe that children have to live like this, that this is reality for many children\teens. Incest, rape, abuse, lack of education, lack of everything! I know this stuff happens, but you don't want to believe it. I work at a Middle School, and I look around and wonder what happens to some of these kids when they go home. My heart breaks. It's not an easy read by any means, but it will make you think and feel.
