Beaming!

Three years ago I started working at my current job. I started my job, leaving a job I hated and recently broken up from my boyfriend. It was a debbie downer time of my life. My first month at my job I hated it and decided to quit over the summer. The summer came and went and for some reason I just didn't feel right about leaving my job. So I stayed. And it was the BEST decision I ever made. That fall when all the teachers came back from their summer vacation I noticed a cute looking guy checking me out during the teachers meetings. Actually i realized the clock was above my head and he was just checking the the time. sigh.

Over the years we became friends, I developed a crush on him and then we started dating last November.

Tim is my best friend, my number 1 fan, my supporter and the person who makes me laugh day after day. Soon he will be HUSBAND!!!

Last night he proposed and I said YES!!!

It was the best night of my life and I am so excited to share the rest of my life with him!!!

The Weekend

Is it FINALLY the weekend!!! This has been a really long week. Fun, but long. I went to TWO Minnesota Twins Games at the new Stadium. SWOON. I love the new stadium. Outdoor baseball is how the game was supposed to be played! It rained both nights I was there and it didn't bother me one bit.

Our stadium is Target Field, there is also a Target Center. Minnesotans love their Targets. Target was started here. It's in our blood.

This weekend will be nothing short of busy!! But all very good stuff. Tonight will be a Triple Date with two of my friends from High School and their boys.

Saturday will be a baby shower for my cousin Erin hosted by her lovely sister, Kelly.

Saturday night will be a double date with Kristen & Nelson. Dinner at Pittsburgh Blue and Iron Man 2! (i'm excited for this!)

Sunday I will spend a lovely day with my mom. Happy Mother's Day!

Fixed!

Last night I went to my blog and it was gone!!! I mean GONE! I freaked! I know I haven't been blogging in over a week, but to see it totally gone really made me sad. Thankfully, everything is fine now. There was some suspicious activity on my GMail account so things were deactivated. All is well. It made me realize just how much I really like my little blog and would've been sad to see it gone! I've been over the top busy lately. And with no computer working at home, and no time to blog at work it's been awhile. Things are great. Life is good!

May 7, 2007 - Three years at my job (New personal record!)

May 16, 2008 - Two years being a homeowner (I love my house!)

June 9, 2007 - Three years blogging. (I might just have a big giveaway coming up to celebrate my blog!)

I will take some time today going through blogs I love to read but have not had a chance to look at.

Sia Later

My awesome cousin Kelly and my other wonderful cousin Erin and her adorable BFF Emily and I went to see Sia in concert. We were all pleasantly surprised that we really really REALLY liked the opening band Body Language. I would definetly go see just them in concert in the future.
Sia herself was amazing. Funny and quirky stage presence, and beautiful soulful voice. I loved it!

Spring!

Getting to Know You Tuesday

I borrowed this post idea from my blog pal Michelle. Although she does a Getting to Know You Sunday... And it's Tuesday and my laptop at home is dead. So here I am at work blogging...

1. Mens chests..hairy or hairless? I didn't used to like chest hair, but not I don't mind a little patch of it.

2. How often do you run red lights? Me? Never!!! I am such a paranoid driver. I practically stop on green!

3. If you could raid any celebrity's closet..whose would you raid? I think Marion Cotillard is just so beautiful and stylish. Every time I see her she looks so chic.

4. Would you rather have more followers/friends on Facebook, Twitter, or your Blog? Well I have lots of friends on FB and I hardly go on there. I don't Twitter so that is out. I would have to say my blog. It's fun when I get new readers and comments.

5. What makes you feel sexy? Honestly? When I stop fussing and trying to look so made up. It's when I'm just hanging out or sitting outside with the sun on my face in a sundress, barefoot hanging with my friends or T.

6. I get excited when...........? When I get to hang out with T and he surprises me with a fun gift or flowers. Or I love when spring comes and I get to see all the little flowers come up and the trees start to bud. When it's July and I don't have to work for a month!!! Hanging out with old and new friends, laughing uncontrollably. A good meal at a great restaurant. .... I could go on and on because almost everything I get excited over. Honestly I rarely am not excited about something. :)

7. Are you the "outdoorsy" type or more "indoorsy"? I am a lot of both. I love being outside gardening, walking, playing, eating, hiking, camping, fishing. But I also love hanging around inside reading, watching tv, blogging, putzing around.

8. Would you rather have your dream home or a million dollars? I think I would take the cash and then buy or build my dream home. Plus my dream home just needs an awesome kitchen to make me happy, so I would have money left over to go play around!
