LOST! Need I say more???!!! So many questions, not enough answers. Does it matter? What will we all do when it comes to an end?

How gorgeous is the painted floor, gorgeous moulding, generous light, fireplace, stunning chandelier and book shelves. White is too impractical for me, so I would think a nice daffodil yellow on the walls and touches of fuchsia all around.

This Kitchen

Nothing fancy, but I dream of counter space and a stove top on the island.

I am in the midst of my own kitchen remodel, of course my kitchen is the size of most people's bathrooms, so there is very little I can do. But It will (hopefully) be spectacular. Pictures of the Before and Afters to come...

And... My next craft project, Little rose barrettes\pins. How cute are these?

Here is the tutorial from the purl bee. Even though these are barrettes I think they would be also be lovely to lump together and make a pin.


My B.B.Cousin Kelly posted a link to the Blog Aid Cookbook. This cookbook looks so awesome and the proceeds will go to Haitian Relief. Score!

I still haven't watched Lost. I keep watching other stuff on my DVR first. It's really too bad, because I used to love that show.

I watched LOST last night on tivo and just kept saying "what in the hell?!" Geez that show!

That kitchen is to die for, counter space! I want MORE counter space too!

Christmas Clothespin Wreath

So now with Christmas almost upon us, I wanted to take the last few days to make some Christmas Crafts. This weekend I spied this AWESOME clothespin wreath on Pinterest which lead me to  Hambly Screen Prints Blog . Not only is it a fantastic blog with fun projects, it's also an online store full of the coolest scrapbook\crafting supplies. If you haven't been to Hambly Screen Prints...  GO NOW ! The clothespin wreath was so fun and easy to make!  Supplies you need: Wooden clothespins scrapbook papers Washi tape (or decorative tape) You can buy washi tape at Hambly, Amazon.com, etsy, Michaels or most craft stores) Glue Thick cardboard for circle (or Michaels sells pre-made circle forms) Felt to cover cardboard (although I skipped that step) Decorate your clothespin however you like. A Book and A Giveaway

As I said I would be doing in my 7 Resolutions, I am reading a book a week. This past week I read the book Precious, based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. I'm sure most of you have heard about the movie based on the novel. The book club that I belong to is reading this book and now that I read it, I am going to give it away. The book was very eye opening, raw. You really don't want to believe that children have to live like this, that this is reality for many children\teens. Incest, rape, abuse, lack of education, lack of everything! I know this stuff happens, but you don't want to believe it. I work at a Middle School, and I look around and wonder what happens to some of these kids when they go home. My heart breaks. It's not an easy read by any means, but it will make you think and feel.
