I have been loving my Silhouette Cameo!!! My in-laws got me a couple of the starter kits for my birthday. Using the Fabric Ink Kit, I made a cute little shirt for E to wear.
Love it so cute, got one for my birthday and a few kits for Christmas and have just started to experiment with it. Found you on Blog Hop, hope you will join me at www.yankeedoodledesigns.com

Nooo! Not you too! I've been resisting the urge to spend lots of money on a Silhouette. I really miss using the laser cutting machine in the architecture building in college (my roommate was in architecture) and can't believe they're selling practically the same thing for personal use now.
So cute! I love my Cameo, but haven't managed to play with it much yet. On the To-Do List (which never ends!). I'm a new follower over from the Blog Hop, and I hope you will follow me back. Have a great weekend!

So now with Christmas almost upon us, I wanted to take the last few days to make some Christmas Crafts. This weekend I spied this AWESOME clothespin wreath on Pinterest which lead me to Hambly Screen Prints Blog . Not only is it a fantastic blog with fun projects, it's also an online store full of the coolest scrapbook\crafting supplies. If you haven't been to Hambly Screen Prints... GO NOW ! As I said I would be doing in my 7 Resolutions, I am reading a book a week. This past week I read the book Precious, based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. I'm sure most of you have heard about the movie based on the novel. The book club that I belong to is reading this book and now that I read it, I am going to give it away. The book was very eye opening, raw. You really don't want to believe that children have to live like this, that this is reality for many children\teens. Incest, rape, abuse, lack of education, lack of everything! I know this stuff happens, but you don't want to believe it. I work at a Middle School, and I look around and wonder what happens to some of these kids when they go home. My heart breaks. It's not an easy read by any means, but it will make you think and feel. If you would like this book just leave me a comment. I'll post a winner on Feb. 1.
