The Dining Room

I spent the better part of this weekend working on my Dining Room. It was so blah before. Now it has color and pictures on the wall.
I still need a new dining room table... Hello Craig's List! And maybe a buffet table. Other than that I'm almost set! Check out the Inspired Room Blog for some great decorating ideas!

The mirror, white chair and pillow were all found at thrift stores\garage sales.

The curtain is a sheet i turned into a curtain, another thrift store find. The pictures are framed scrap book pages.

Love! love! love! ...I'm a garage sales/thrift freak myself... and I have that same darn sheet (for my daughter's bed though, for my house is not "country" enough for me to put up flower print curtains... but I love it!).

The cherry color is amazing, the mirror too... everything is so lovely, Sabrina! What a great job!

That mirror was quite the score! If I were you (which I'm not so just take this with a grain of salt) I would take the raspberry color across that whole wall. Think how totally delish with the white doors and trim and the scallops over the doors--it makes me teeth hurt, it's so gorgeous in my mind. It's not as if there is that much wall space that it would be too over powering. At least I don't think so. But who am I?

Guess what? Big surprise....I LOVE IT! And what would it be to have me comment on your decor without telling you that I have something the same. Some of that scrapbook paper!! I used it to make birthday banners and little flags for birthday cakes. Good taste girl!
Sabrina! I love it! You are so gifted in all things creative. You are!
