1. Charles "Pa" Ingles (Michael Landon)\Little House on the Prairie: Rugged, hardworking, family man, but a good sense of humor and sweet sensitive side.

2. Lloyd Dobler (John Cusak)\Say Anything: Quirky, goofy, dorky and when he is asked what he is planning on doing for the summer, he says, "Being a really good boyfriend."

3. Bob Rueland (David Duchovny)\Return to Me: Chivalrous, kind, can laugh at himself, very sweet.

4. Guido Orefice (Roberto Benigni)\Life is Beautiful: Silly, Spaztastic, and will do anything to be with the woman he loves. I Love when he greets his wife with "Bon giorno Principessa!"

OMG! Pa Ingalls is my all time favorite!! And Return To Me makes me cry EVERY TIME I see it--like gasping sobs because I try to hold it in! You can call me anytime you want to watch either. . .
Ok Jodi, its a date! Speaking of dates... I have the whole month of July off and would love to FINALLY meet up with you!!!
where is chuck?
Chuck is pure sleaze. Does not make for good long term relationship material. More like a brief love affair.
ooooh, can you do a brief affair post now?
Let me check my itinerary---hmmmm---looks pretty wide open--I'm not a very popular person! haha!! Except for the week of July 18th (our 10 year anniversary) and the fact that my MIL will be here that weekend. Sounds fun. . . doesn't it? Supposedly hubby has some big secret plan for us--I have no clue--but it better not be leaving my little boy for overnight--I wouldn't be able to do it! :0)
I L.O.V.E. Lloyd Dobler too!!! That movie began my love affair with John Cusack! And since John pretty much always plays the same dorky rambling yet totally lovable characters, he MUST be like that in real life too....ya think? He's definitely my celebrity "back-up." But I also agree with Pa and Duchovney.......good picks all around.

TODAYS episode*******
Almonzo bought land from a creep that blocked water he needed to farm. He and Charles went to the creeps farm and Almonzo wanted to duke it out with him in the barn. Charles held him back, words were exchanged, when the creep told him that he'd buy back the land for 100 bucks, when the land was worth 1,000. They headed out to leave...that's when Charles told Almonzo that he wanted to ask the creep a question.
So,Charles headed back into the barn and told the creep that he apologized for his son in laws actions and words and that all Almonzo wanted to do, was have a crop to build a home for his family, and live there the rest of their lives.
Then Charles proceeds to tell him: Ya know who he reminds me of? His future father in law, and ya know when he'll sell you back that land-when hell freezes over, and he busts him a good one in the jaw:-) Love, love, love rhat show and Pa!!!
Wished he wouldn't have passed away! His son Micheal produces some great Hallmark movies:-)
Your other picks are pefect as well! Find me a man like that while you're lookin:-)))
